France Televisions Develops FranceTV Pluzz Multiscreen Offer with Anevia

Anevia, a leader in video streaming and infrastructure solutions for OTT, live TV and Video on Demand (VoD), today announced that French public national TV broadcaster France Televisions chose ViaMotion to power its new multiscreen platform.

Francetv Pluzz is a highly popular TV portal in France, where five premium channels (France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and France ) and nine overseas channels content can be viewed and shared on demand. The strategic importance of managing this platform in-house due to time-to-market and technology control purposes led France Televisions to select the ViaMotion Plus from Anevia.

ViaMotions flexible architecture was a clear driver behind the public broadcasters decision as it allows them to gain full control over operations and contents internally while easily supporting their multi-CDN ecosystem.
