Qumu Announces Live Transform Leading enterprise video platform provider enhances feature suite with improved live transcoding and mobile slide synchronization

Live Transcoding By transforming one or more incoming or encoding streams from a variety of supported capture devices, Qumu can deliver video in a variety of new stream formats in real time. Live Transform also transrates from a high bitrate to numerous lower bitrates. These are essential capabilities for customers with broad audiences for broadcast video. The live transcoding functionality of Live Transform also integrates seamlessly with Qumu's patented Pathfinder and VideoNet Edge optimized delivery capabilities for flawless video delivery.
Mobile Slide Synchronization As mobile video becomes an important part of communications strategies throughout organizations, the ability to provide video/slide combinations without delays is critical. The capabilities of Wowza Streaming Engine combined with Qumu's enhancements within Live Transform enable script events to be added to HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) broadcasts to ensure in-band slide synchronization or correctly timed slides along with video. This gives organizations the power to provide high quality presentations to anyone in their organization on any device.
