Belden Enterprise Connectivity Announces New Sales Structure

ST. LOUIS--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, is pleased to announce a significant expansion of its Enterprise Connectivity Sales network in the United States. Effective January 1, 2014, Belden and Mohawk manufacturer representatives will now carry all Belden enterprise network infrastructure products in addition to Mohawk cable lines. Belden systems will continue to be offered as a high-performance, end-to-end solution while Mohawk cable will continue to be offered as a contractor-grade, value priced alternative.

This move will greatly extend the number of experts offering technical and sales support while allowing customers to more easily combine Belden connectivity products with either Belden or Mohawk branded cable. Customers will also gain greater peace of mind through enhanced warranties on installations using both Belden and Mohawk products.

Mohawk is a terrific brand built upon open architecture installations, but we discovered that the previous sales structure made it difficult for Mohawk customers to consider Belden connectivity as one of their options. While Mohawk will continue to fully support open architecture designs, regardless of the connectivity partner selected, we're excited that this change will make it easier and more valuable for Mohawk customers to select Belden connectivity for their networks, or even a complete Belden solution, said Lincoln Howell, vice president of marketing for Belden.

In addition to the benefits for customers, Mohawk contractors will gain access to the Belden PartnerAlliance program, which offers comprehensive training, certification, and support for network installations. Certified contractors will be able to offer industry leading warranties that cover installations using the entire breadth of both Belden and Mohawk lines.

Customers who wish to purchase either Mohawk or Belden products will be able to continue to do so through existing distribution partners without any interruption.
