According to MailOnline, the music streaming service Spotify recently compiled a list of the world's most relaxing songs. And you'll never guess what they are.

The list was compiled after analysing over 76 000 songs added to relaxing playlists on the platform.

Well-known singers on the top of the list include UK folk singer Ed Sheeran, R&B singer John Legend, TikTok sensation Surf Mesa and Coldplay.

But an artist with at least ten songs in the top 150 most soothing song list might leave listeners scratching their heads in confusion. It's not a name familiar to most.

Award-winning Bollywood film composer, instrumentalist, and singer Pritam (Pritam Chakraborty) has no less than ten songs in the top 150 list, the publication reports.

Despite hogging the first top spots, Ed Sheeran's songs only appear seven times on the Top 150 list. Coldplay has five songs on the list.
