Ningbo becomes provincial "quality security demonstration zone for exported baby strollers"

It is learned from Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that Ningbo has passed the examination of the departments concerned and has become the provincial "quality security demonstration zone for exported baby strollers", and 40 baby stroller enterprises have become the provincial demonstration enterprises.

As is reported, the government departments concerned will provide a series of preference and convenience to the demonstration enterprises, including simplifying the procedures for the commodities involved in the export registering system, enlarging the exam-free scope of commodities based on the effective supervision, providing development support and supervision convenience for the enterprises conducting such new businesses as overseas maintenance, testing and research & development, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of exporters.

As one of the major production and export bases of baby strollers in China, Ningbo has now about 250 baby stroller enterprises, with over 50,000 people working with them, including 36 large-scale enterprises. In 2015, the enterprises concerned realized an output value of about six billion yuan, accounting for 70% or so of that of the whole province, while the export volume reached US$800 million, accounting for bout 80% of that of the whole province.
