Scale Logic, Inc. is going back to school at NAB, with two days of media management workshops on the show floor with some of the industry's most prominent technologists. The NAB Knowledge Zone - Booth #SL11109 in the South Hall - represents the show's most in-depth source of knowledge about storage and asset protection in media workflows.
With more than 30 years of expertise in media and entertainment storage solutions, Scale Logic is looking to share its experience with customers, partners and prospects. During each day of NAB, Scale Logic experts will host a booth discussion and demo tackling a different topic in media management. These sessions will feature specific customer presentations that highlight the common experiences and challenges of working in high-performance environments.

11:00 a.m.
Hybrid cloud workflows in media production with veteran strategists Mike Szumlinski from Cantemo and Skip Levens from Backblaze.
1:00 p.m.
Enterprise media storage strategy with Justin Elliott, chief engineer for Walmart. Elliott is in charge of production technology for WalmartTV, an on-site production studio for remote events, meetings and internal communications. The company has been working with Scale Logic for more than 15 years, installing and maintaining a complete Storage Fabric setup to serve the needs of the world's largest company.
3:00 p.m.
Broadcast, film, post-production and media with Anand Jahagirdar, director of sales engineering and business development for UK technology supplier ROOT6. Anand will bring his decades of experience working with post-production, broadcast, news and corporate customer markets to the discussion.

CatDV system design and deployment with veteran MAM strategist Bryson Jones, founder and CIO of North Shore Automation. Bryson is a post-production support specialist with a long career creating SAN designs and installations for broadcast networks, television programs, feature films and sports franchises.

Media storage optimization with veteran media technology consultant Jim Casabella, founder and president of the Jim Casabella Consulting Group. Casabella has a long and storied pedigree as a media and entertainment strategist, with more than 20 years of experience using the latest technology to improve media workflows.
3:00 p.m.
Media storage optimization with Tridib Chakravarty, CEO of StorageDNA, a technology firm that helps film, video and broadcast professionals work more efficiently. The company's proprietary Data Management Fabric is a set of tools that provide key data management functions - index, analyze, search and copy - across disk, tape, WAN and cloud environments.
