Sony has appointed Hiroshi Kajita as its new Head of Media Solutions. He joined Sony in 1985 and has extensive experience working with media organisations, partners and customers across the industry.
Hiroshi Kajita will now build on the success Sony Professional Solutions Europe (PSE) has seen as one of the world's leaders in media and entertainment by delivering on its product, solutions and services strategy to drive longer term customer value and accelerate growth of the business segment.
The company continues to focus on delivering outstanding technologies, integrated consulting services and solutions across the whole content value chain to help empower media companies to thrive.

Hiroshi Kajita joins Sony Professional Solutions Europe from Tokyo, Japan, where he was the Corporate Executive Officer and member of the board for Sony Business Solutions Corporation. In this role he led various 4K and 8K OB van projects for major global broadcasters, IP remote production systems, one of the biggest IP routing solutions in the world and some of the most stunning Crystal LED installations world-wide.
