Set in the 1980s, Elizabeth (Keri Russell, Felicity) and Philip Jennings (Matthew Rhys, Brothers and Sisters) are Russian spies living undercover in a Washington, D.C. suburb with their two children. Their latest mission to kidnap a defective KGB agent goes awry, and the couple is forced to conceal him in their garage. Meanwhile, the couple learns that their new neighbour, Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich, White Collar), works in counterintelligence at the FBI and is assigned to locating the vanished KGB agent.
