Dailymotion, the world's second largest video portal, is streaming a host of acts from the Kendal Calling music festival live, globally, over 26-28th July.

This festival has sold out, for the eighth year running, so music fans that have not managed to get a ticket can only see performances via the Dailymotion player.

Acts being live streamed include Primal Scream, Ash, The Twang, Scrufizzer, Drenge and Beans on Toast, with others due to be added. Live performance video will also be available from Basement Jaxx following their set.

The popular annual event is staged at Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District and is one of the UK's fastest growing music festivals. It has developed from a two-day, 900 capacity event in 2006 to a 13,000 capacity three-day music festival spread across nine stages today.

In 2010 Kendal Calling was awarded the Best Small UK Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards, as voted by the public. Kendal Calling also won the industry award Best Small Festival' at the LIVE UK awards in 2010 and 2011.
