CINEMARK PRESENTS NEXT ROUND OF CLASSIC SERIES FILMS
New Classic Titles will Feature BIG, Bueller and Bill Murray
Plano, TX, December 28, 2013 - Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), one of the worlds largest motion picture exhibitors is pleased to announce the next round of the Classic Series at Cinemark will feature six iconic films from the 1980s and 1990s. Presented in January and February in over 150 Cinemark, Century and Rave theatres across the country, these digitally restored movies will be scheduled to play Sundays at 2:00 pm and Wednesdays at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.
The six films include Big, The Princess Bride, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Groundhog Day,and Sleepless in Seattle. Three of the films in this set of classics all made the AFIs 100 Years...100 Laughs list in 2000: Groundhog Day at number 34, Big at number 42, and Fast Times at Ridgemont High at number 87.
This round of Classics features some of our best loved comedies and date night movies of the 80s and 90s, states James Meredith, VP of Marketing & Communications for Cinemark. Plus it features many favorite actors from Tom Hanks and Bill Murray, to Matthew Broderick and Sean Penn in their most memorable and funny moments.
Individual tickets for Cinemarks Classics Series are now available at www.cinemark.com or at the participating theatre box office. A bundled ticket option is available for $30 for all six movies. Big (1988, PG) Sunday January 5 at 2:00pm, and Wednesday 8 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm
The Princess Bride (1987, PG) Sunday January 12, and Wednesday January 15
Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982, R) Sunday January 19, and Wednesday January 22
Ferris Buellers Day Off (1986, PG-13) Sunday January 26, and Wednesday January 29
Groundhog Day (1993, PG) Sunday February 2, and Wednesday February 5
Sleepless in Seattle (1993, PG) Sunday February 9, and Wednesday February 12
