Marshall presents its new CV342 Compact 2.2 Megapixel HD-SDI Broadcast Camera, designed to provide clear, low noise video for all broadcast applications. The camera delivers high quality full-HD video in 1920x1080p (60, 59.94, 50, 30, 25fps), 1920x1080i (60, 59.94, 50fps), and 1280x720p (60, 59.94, 50, 30, 25fps). resolutions for sportscast, broadcast, newscast, reality TV, culinary shows, hidden cams and stunt filming. The new rugged body is smaller than the CV340, making the CV342 an ideal HD camera for demanding video applications.
The camera incorporates a 2.2 Megapixel 1/3 CMOS Sensor with CS mount and DC Auto-Iris functionality. This new sensor and chip set enable the camera to output High Definition 12-bit digital image signals from 2.2 million pixels at 60fps through a full size HDSDI(3G-SDI) BNC with very low power consumption, 180mA max.
The Auto/Manual White Balance, Shutter control, Gamma/Color adjustments, Wide Dynamic Range, Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Defog SmartIR, High Light Compensation, all enhance the cameras ability to capture clear video in a variety of conditions.
Customers are using our compact HD cameras for ON-AIR broadcast POV shots, sportscasts, live music events, auto & horse racing, newscasts. It only makes sense to improve the video quality and functionality of the widely used CV340 into a smaller, more compact rugged body. Thats what you get with the next generation CV342. says Tod Musgrave, Product Marketing Engineer.
The CV342 is about 5cm in diameter and weighs just 160 Gms. Its size makes placement and concealment easy in reality TV or hidden camera shows.
Because the CV342 is a CS mount, a variety of specialty lenses can be utilized. Marshall carries fixed and varifocal lenses, ranging from 2.4mm 50mm.
The UK/Ireland distributor for Marshall is Cache Media, based in Newbury. Cache Media have developed windows control software for the camera making remote operation easy and slick. The CV 342 CS is available from stock.
Cache Media will demonstrate the CV 342 CS and the genlockable CV 360 CGB along with other mini cams at BSC Expo, January 30th / 31st - Stand 37.
