Marquis to Launch Worx4 X for Apple FCP X at NAB 07

Marquis Broadcast has announced it will officially launch Worx4 X the brand-new app which consolidates Apple Final Cut Pro X projects. It massively reduces project size, without quality loss or using compression - at NAB 2017 on booth SL9030.

Worx4 X is an exciting new addition to our suite of helper' apps for editors, explains Paul Glasgow, sales & marketing director Marquis Broadcast. First previewed at BVE, Worx4 X could reduce the size of a high shooting ratio project by more than 90%, making sharing, delivering and archiving fully editable FCP X projects faster, easier, and more reliable.

Worx4 X achieves the reduction in project size by taking the media used in an Apple FCP X project and copying it to a new location whilst trimming with handles, confirms Glasgow. It is a simple yet effective app which will significantly transform the speed editors can share projects working with Apple FCP X.

At NAB 2017 Marquis will also demonstrate Worx4 Pro, a media discovery tool for Adobe Premiere ProCC that was first introduced at IBC last year. Worx4 Pro identifies where all the media in a project is stored, which ensures editors never deliver a project with missing media.

In addition, on show at NAB will be Edit Bridge for users of Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC and Apple FCP X with Avid ISIS NEXIS and Interplay. Edit Bridge enables Avid Interplay content to be found and used in multiple editing applications resulting in super slick integrations and allowing non-Avid editors to work seamlessly within an Avid Interplay environment.

Marquis' staff will also be on-hand to show Project and Workspace Parking, the Company's tools for ISIS NEXIS storage analysis, optimisation, productivity, archive and business continuity. Certified by Avid, Project Parking is the complete Avid storage management solution which archives, moves and restores Avid projects and analyses and manages media to optimise edit storage utilisation.
