nxtedition will demonstrate its story-first production platform at MPTS 2025, highlighting integrated AI Agents, open-source language models, and frictionless control of live production. Built for fast-paced environments like news and sports, the platform brings together every part of the production process in one consolidated system.
The latest developments include AI-powered automation running locally on the nxtedition platform, eliminating the need for cloud infrastructure or additional fees. Using open-source tools such as Meta's Llama 3 and OpenAI Whisper, nxtedition enables semantic natural language search, automatic title and description generation, and content adaptation, all while maintaining editorial control and transparency.
MPTS visitors will also see a demonstration of nxtedition's award-winning mixed reality studio gallery, operated through an intuitive interface that reinforces the platform's strength in remote production and control.

At MPTS, we'll show how our software environment enables creative teams to do more, with less, by automating intelligently and integrating everything they need into one place.
nxtedition is built to support resolutions up to 4K and HDR and includes tools such as fast-turnaround editing, integration with DaVinci Resolve, and API access to third-party creative platforms. Recent integrations with Mapcreator and Melodie Music Library provide even more power to journalists within the nxtedition user interface.
