Grass Valley Brings Powerful Portfolio of Complete Solutions to BroadcastAsia 2019
MONTREAL, May 30, 2019 Grass Valley will showcase its unmatched portfolio of applications-driven solutions at BroadcastAsia 2019 (June 18 20, stand 4R2-01), underscoring how it enables broadcasters, rights holders and media service providers to create, manage and deliver captivating and immersive content that engages audiences on any device. The company will highlight solutions from a range of key application areas including live production, IP infrastructure, advanced workflow solutions and virtualized playout.
At BroadcastAsia we will emphasize our unique position to support our customers with complete solutions that help them meet the challenges, and leverage the opportunities, of todays fast changing mediascape, says Somu Patil, vice president sales, Asia, Grass Valley. As a frontrunner in the industry transition to cloud and IP, with more open IP deployments than any other vendor, visitors to our booth will see our innovative portfolio of groundbreaking solutions. Our application centric demonstrations will showcase how we address real-life scenarios and will feature products that will be shown publicly for the first time in Asia, such as Creative Grading and GV STRATUS One.
Visitors to Grass Valleys stand (4R2-01) will see how its end-to-end ecosystem of reliable, open standards-based solutions enables content creators and broadcasters to develop captivating experiences and build successful media businesses.
Grass Valley will demonstrate how its solutions enable seamless workflows for live and at-home/remote production. Hot from its award-winning NAB launch will be Creative Grading (GVCG): this unique solution for camera shaders delivers a fast perceptive interface that can quickly manage adjustments and transitions. The latest version of Grass Valleys powerful live highlights and replay system LiveTouch, which integrates 4K UHD slow-motion replay, direct playout and full super slow-motion support will also be on display, as will the smart, cost-efficient Kula Production Switcher with IP I/O. This compact switcher packs the functionality of a larger switcher into a 2RU space, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
Grass Valley will also highlight how it is empowering customers by simplifying content management workflows so they can better respond to consumer demand for first class content. Being shown for the first time in the Asia Pacific region, GV STRATUS One delivers a comprehensive, all-in-one production platform in a compact 2RU footprint. This easily deployable solution manages ingest, playout, recording, transcoding, asset management and supports streaming to a web client. Also on the booth will be Morpheus UX, the completely re-configurable user interface for Grass Valleys Morpheus Automation and ICE channel-in-a-box solutions. This latest toolset allows operators to easily build user-defined panels appropriate for a wide range of playout operations.
Visitors to the Grass Valley booth will also see GV Fabric, a high-speed commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) IP switch designed to support broadcast and media applications of all sizes; and the GV ION Advanced Media Storage that provides the most versatile array of storage solutions, both SAN and NAS technologies, optimized to maximize performance in any video production environment.
