Submiions Open for Make-Up & Hair Stylists Guild Awards

Submissions for the Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards honoring outstanding achievements for make-up artists and hair stylists in motion pictures, television, commercials, and live theater open today, October 16, 2014. Submissions will be made online at www.local706.org. This years Awards will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Paramount Studios Theatre. The official announcement came from IATSE Local 706 President Sue Cabral-Ebert.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 21, 2014 at 5 PM (PT). The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) members will vote to determine the nominations. The 2015 Distinguished Artisan Award will be announced shortly. Honorees for the two Lifetime Achievement Awards honoring one outstanding make-up artist and one outstanding hair stylist will be announced on November 15, 2014.
