You just knew that Julius Malema's first EFF press briefing after the elections was going to be blockbuster entertainment. With an increased share of the vote and a stronger mandate than ever before, Juju was primed to purr like a Chesire Cat, and he wasted no time in getting his claws out.
After a brief confrontation with a French journalist, Malema also showed he could be an economic freedom lover as well as an Economic Freedom Fighter when he reached out to Trevor Noah. The politician and the comedian ended up in a war of words last week, but the EFF leader says he has love for the Soweto superstar.
He was less kind to Cyril Ramaphosa though, and predicted the end would be nigh for the president. Here are the highlights of the address from Gauteng on Thursday:

Julius Malema tells French journalist your country is burning There are no tensions in South Africa but there are in France. France is burning. No-one from here ever came to your country. You are living an imaginary life. You are imagining these tensions. You are dreaming of this. We've never perpetuated hatred.
SAHRC have already cleared us hate speech. We are robust, but there is no tension and instigation of violence. We've been speaking this language for five years and there's no language. We are the ones who go into communities and diffuse the tensions.
Making the comfortable feel uncomfortable Our people will engage you on white superiority. We are making the comfortable feel uncomfortable. We don't apologise for that, we want to collapse white supremacy in South Africa.
Cyril may be on borrowed time The land question isn't difficult. The ANC has a resolution that says land must be expropriated without compensation. Cyril will have a problem trying to impress his foreign investors and this will give his enemies a weapon to hit him with. He is caught between a rock and a hard place.
Wait, Cyril is definitely on borrowed time Cyril cannot deny there's a plan to remove him. He has reduced the ANC vote. 57%? The man has cost the ANC and it's worse than what Zuma did to the ANC. There's a well-oiled faction ready to attack him.
Julius Malema isn't a fan of Bathabile Dlamini If Bathabile comes back, it's clear: It's not a new dawn it's an old vaseline. No-one can help him with this, the man is in crisis.
He's been shithousing the media, too Your heart is sore and you are pained by the EFF success. You can't do anything about it and you cannot compare our 2014 budget to our 2019 budget we were eight months old, you can answer that yourself.
That sounds like war talk With 44 members, Parliament will need more bouncers! We are going to war. We are fighting for black children.
Gauteng was a fraudulent win Julius Malema The ANC did not get 50% in Gauteng and they will govern that province through fraud. They know that. But as a peace-loving organisation, we believe in our people. We will soon decisively remove them. 50% for what?
Juju encourages FF+ growth. No, really I am happy white people are taking a position. Their voting for VF+ is making it clear that they are racist. They take Verwoerd's grandson because they do not apologize for apartheid, you're the ones who are apologetic. But ours is to liberate the mind of the black child and we are slowing achieving that.
No scrubs in the EFF, according to Julius Malema We do not want fanatics in the EFF, we thrive through superior logic. Don't come and create an impression that votes were stolen. We said to you fighters, this elephant will be eaten bit by bit.
