Apartheid prison break movie headlining with international stars --

Popularly known as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliff will be heading to South Africa next year to a shoot political movie based on an autobiography titled, Inside Out: Escape from Pretoria Prison.

The autography is based on former political prisoner, Tim Jenkin, who was jailed in 1978 for carrying out anti-apartheid operations for the African National Congress (ANC).

The British-star will be playing the leading role, a 20-something white South African Jenkin, who was branded as a terrorist and imprisoned at the Pretoria Maximum Security Prison. He and another activist, Stephen Lee, then plan to send the apartheid government a message and make their prison break.

Escape From Pretoria, is written and directed by Francis Annan and is set to begin shooting in early 2018 in South Africa. The real-life story will be centred on how these two anti-apartheid campaigners planned and executed their broke out at the maximum-security prison.

The film is already creating a buzz and is shopped to buyers in Cannes by The Works International.

International actor, Sam Niell (Jurassic Park, Hunt for the Wilderpeople) will also star in the movie as the South African social campaigner and activist Denis Goldberg. It is understood that Goldberg was a member of the African National Congress military wing and was the only white man to be sentenced alongside Nelson Mandela.
