6-K: Management Board Changes Amsterdam (March 7, 2013) - VimpelCom Ltd ( VimpelCom , Company or Group ) (NYSE: VIP), a leading global provider of telecommunications services, today announced changes to its Management Board. With effect from 7 March 2013, Robert Conway, Chief International Affairs Officer, will leave VimpelCom and will no longer be a member of the Management Board. Taras Parkhomenko, who was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Group's subsidiary in Kazakhstan, is appointed a member of the Management Board and will report to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
Jo Lunder, Group Chief Executive Officer, said: I would like to thank Rob Conway for his contribution to VimpelCom during his time as Chief International Affairs Officer. Rob has led the development of the Group's positioning and reputation amongst internal and external stakeholders and we have made strong progress as a leading international operator under his leadership of the function. I am pleased that Rob has agreed to continue working for VimpelCom in an advisory capacity. I would also like to congratulate Taras on becoming a member of the Management Board.
