La plataforma de televisi n basada en nube, Magine TV, se prepara para la expansi n internacional con el nombramiento de Ambuj Goyal como nuevo presidente y director de operaciones. Goyal cuenta con un extenso historial en empresas tecnol gicas como IBM para la que trabaj durante 32 a os.
Como director general de Gesti n de Informaci n y An lisis de Negocio en IBM, Goyal dirigi la compa a para convertirla en l der en el sector de an lisis de negocio. Dentro de esta multinacional tambi n llev a cabo la investigaci n de ciencias inform ticas en el Centro de Investigaci n Thomas J Watson de IBM (IBM Thomas J Watson Research Center).
Por su parte, el hasta ahora presidente de Magine Tv, Kamal Bherwani, ser el nuevo director ejecutivo de la empresa. Antes de unirse a la junta de Magine TV, Bherwani ocup el puesto de director digital (Chief Digital Officer) y director tecnol gico (Chief Technology Officer) en PRISA.

Adem s de haber lanzado en Alemania (en abril de 2014), donde Magine TV ahora ofrece varios canales nacionales e internacionales incluyendo ARD, ZDF, RTL, ProSieben y Sat.1, la empresa se lanz comercialmente en su Suecia natal en marzo de 2013, albergando algunas de las marcas y canales m s conocidas del mundo como Disney, Discovery, Fox, CNN International, BBC, Eurosport, National Geographic, Nickelodeon y Cartoon Network, as como emisoras nacionales suecas. La versi n beta de Magine TV tambi n se ha presentado en Espa a (en julio de 2013), a la que le seguir su lanzamiento comercial.
