Screen Producers Australia is excited to announce that applications are now open to participate in the 2017 Ones To Watch mentor program for emerging producers.

Now in its fifth year, Ones To Watch is a selective entry mentor program, connecting emerging producers with a leading, experienced screen industry producer, who provides expert one-on-one mentoring and career guidance.

Previous Ones To Watch mentors include representatives from Arclight Films, Beyond, CJZ, Essential Media and Entertainment, Goalpost Pictures, Hoodlum, Jungle, Matchbox Pictures, Porchlight Films, Prospero Productions, Princess Pictures and Triptych Pictures.

Open to emerging producers throughout Australia who create innovative content across big and small screens, Ones To Watch provides successful applicants with ongoing touchpoints to the industry and unparalleled career opportunities. These include access to exclusive pitching and professional development initiatives, and opportunities at the SCREEN FOREVER 2017 conference, 14-16 November in Melbourne. Screen Producers Australia will announce further information on exclusive initiatives and partnerships as the program progresses.

In 2017, the Ones To Watch program further establishes itself as the Australian screen production industry's key mentor program, developing the business and creative skills of our next generation of producers, said Screen Producers Australia CEO, Matthew Deaner.

Our Ones To Watch alumni, who have moved through the program since its inception five years ago are an impressive group of active producers and industry professionals, Deaner added. We are proud of the outcomes that the program has produced, both locally and across the globe and look forward to building upon this success with Australia's most promising emerging producer talents.

Applications to participate in the 2017 Ones To Watch program and receive mentoring from some of the country's most established screen professionals and industry experts are open now, and close on Tuesday 2 May, 5pm AEST.
