Seen on Screen: New NFL Docuseries Spotlights Football-Mad Towns; Tennis Channel Now Available on Amazon FireTV

The NFL and its cable network recently announced a new docuseries spotlighting football-mad towns, which will premier on September 17 along with its returning shows A Football Life and Undrafted. Season 2 of the docuseries Undrafted will premier September 16 on CBS. Season 5 of A Football Life kicks off September 18 on NFL Network with a look at Christian Okoye, The Nigerian Nightmare. Others players who will get their role in A Football Life include Terrell Owens, Mike Singletary, and newly inducted Hall of Famers Jerome Bettis and Charles Haley. NFL Network will also unveil the documentary Do Your Job: Bill Belichick And The 2014 New England Patriots

Tennis Channel is now available to Amazon FireTV customers who subscribe to the network via their cable, satellite, or telco providers. As of Sept 1, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire tablets offer TV Everywhere access to Tennis Channel's linear feed as well as Tennis Channel Plus. During the US Open, Tennis Channel subscribers can use Amazon Fire TV to access the network's two-week coverage of the sport's largest competition, including three-hour morning show Tennis Channel Live at the US Open and eight-hour evening encore program US Open Tonight

Garbage Time With Katie Nolan returns to Fox Sports 1 debuting on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Midnight ET. Garbage Time has been a blast to make, and I'm excited to keep making it. Nolan said. I look forward to continuing to garner such rave reviews like, What is this?' and This show makes me uncomfortable.' The show premiered March 15, 2015, and aired Sunday nights on FS1 during its first season, attracting large audiences both on television and online. The show eclipsed the 1 million mark three times in terms of combined television and digital audiences

Inspiring stories chronicling the journeys of world-class athletes Alex Morgan (United States women's soccer team; Portland Thorns FC), Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers), CC Sabathia (New York Yankees), Henrik Lundqvist (New York Rangers), and Tim Howard (United States men's soccer team; Everton Football Club) will be featured in upcoming episodes of Disney XD and ESPN Films' athlete profile documentary series Becoming. The series gives young viewers an inside look at the challenges of some of their favorite sports stars. Disney XD will premiere Becoming: Alex Morgan, featuring never-before-seen footage of Alex as a young girl and aspiring superstar. The Becoming is a production of ESPN Films and SpringHill Entertainment.
