Netflix once again invites viewers to the hottest Inferno as Single's Inferno returns for Season 5 on January 20, 2026 - alongside a sizzling new teaser that previews the alluring contestants and the kind of romantic tension fans have come to love.
The first Korean reality series on Netflix to reach a fifth season, Single's Inferno remains a global sensation. The series gathers flirty singles on a deserted island or Inferno, where they can only escape as couples. Season 1 became the first original Korean unscripted series to enter Netflix's Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) list. Season 2 continued the momentum with a four-week run on the same chart, while Season 3 broke new ground with five weeks in the Global Top 10 and Top 10 placements in 31 countries. Season 4 delivered the strongest first-week viewing hours yet, reaffirming the show's unrivaled popularity among dating reality series.
Anticipation is higher than ever for this season's lineup of attractive singles, ready to dive into the hottest Inferno yet. All I can say is that we are deeply grateful. The series has come this far thanks to all the singles from Season 1 and the fans who have rooted for them, says director Kim Jae-won, who has helmed the series across five seasons.
The newly released teaser sets the tone: a new group of singles arrives on a special island and plunges into a no-holds-barred battle for love. It opens with sweet flirtation, then pivots to blunt, unfiltered sparks. The contrast teases a more thrilling Paradise and an Inferno that's darker and hotter than ever.
The season's biggest highlight remains the dramatically evolving romantic arcs - driven by participants who wear their hearts on their sleeves - and the emotionally charged narrative devices crafted by the masters of dating reality. Director Kim Jae-won adds, Designed as a classic dating reality series, Season 5 focuses on the butterflies you feel in a romantic relationship. You can expect much more diverse romantic arcs and unforgettable personalities. The season also explores fascinating dynamics between participants, unlike anything you've seen.
Single's Inferno Season 5 premieres on January 20, only on Netflix.
