Halo Post Production Secures Avid Workflows with Object Storage from Object Matrix.

Cardiff (UK) 15th January 2015 - London based Halo Post Production has complemented its Avid production platform with the integration of nearline object storage from Object Matrix. Halo Post Production offers diverse services across the creative industry from TV drama (The Missing) to film (Paddington) and sound production for Downton Abbey.

Halo Post Production is growing rapidly having recently acquired Hackenbacker Studios and now has a number of sites located in the London area. In order to ensure continuity of the business across all workflows and sites the team at Halo sought to replace their existing nearline storage platform with a secure solution that could grow in line with the business needs.

As more content enters the facility from a growing client base we recognised the need to implement a tiered storage and integrated workflow strategy that meets the companies tactical and strategic requirements. Choosing a nearline storage platform to fit into our vision meant that it not only had to fit into our current working environment but also be able to scale inline with future requirements stated Daniel Napier, Chief Engineer Halo Post Production.
