Dejero has announced that it has been shortlisted in the Content and Communications Infrastructure category of the IABM Design & Innovation Awards. The awards will cast the spotlight on new solutions or products that bring benefit or create new opportunities in the broadcast and media industry.
Dejeros award entry was based on its LIVE Booster, a high-gain connection and signal booster for video transmissions over cellular networks.

The LIVE Booster is a vehicle-mounted device that uses an array of up to 12 high-gain antennas to provide a high-reach connection and signal booster for bonded uplink transmissions. By simply plugging Dejeros powerful and easy-to-use portable LIVE 20/20 Transmitter into the LIVE Booster, a mobile crew can turn a news vehicle into one large antenna for the best possible resilient connection. Both devices can be powered up and ready to transmit low-latency, broadcast-quality video in seconds, making them ideal in fast-breaking news situations that require the team to be immediately mobile.
Shortlisted entries will be judged by a panel of independent specialists chaired by John Ive, IABM director of business development and technology. Winners will be announced at the IABM reception and awards ceremony at IBC2014 in Amsterdam on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m.
