At the 2025 Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), Cerberus Tech will showcase the latest major enhancement to its Livelink IP video delivery platform the new gateway agent functionality. Designed to extend the power of Livelink beyond the cloud, gateway agent enables real-time, remote control of on-premises devices such as encoders, decoders, and transmission systems. Visitors to Stand T2 will see how this new functionality brings end-to-end workflow visibility and control into a single intuitive interface.
A Unified Platform for Live IP Delivery
Livelink by Cerberus Tech is a platform for cloud native provisioning, orchestration, and automation. It simplifies IP-based video transport with its multi-cloud compatibility, low-latency reach, and self-serve or managed service options. The addition of gateway agent functionality consolidates oversight of both cloud and on-prem operations, reducing engineering overhead, enhancing uptime, and accelerating time-to-air.
Gateway Agent for Livelink
Newly introduced gateway agent functionality within the Livelink platform empowers users to remotely manage on-prem devices directly from the cloud-native Livelink UI. Installed as a lightweight, protocol-agnostic agent, gateway agent enables direct communication with hardware or software-based systems, enhancing orchestration and automation across hybrid workflows.
With its robust security model including JWT-encrypted API calls, IP whitelisting, and zero-data storage on the agent itself the system ensures secure interaction between cloud and edge infrastructure. The gateway agent also simplifies common tasks such as bit rate configuration, log retrieval, and firmware management, unlocking new levels of operational agility.
Across management of a remote event or maintenance of 24/7 linear feeds, Livelink users now can configure, monitor, and troubleshoot edge devices securely and remotely, minimizing onsite technical demands and streamlining broadcast operations
