Accedo TV Everywhere Powers Snap by Sky on Android Stockholm, 1st April 2014

Accedo, the global market leader in TV application solutions, today announced that its TV Everywhere (TVE) solution is powering the latest deployment of Sky Deutschland's Snap by Sky service for Android devices.

Accedo's TVE Solution provides a comprehensive solution for media companies and pay TV operators to launch multiscreen applications. It is available on any device, including mobile, tablet, game consoles and Smart TVs, and is pre-integrated with leading video platforms.

Snap by Sky, which was launched at the end of 2013, is available to existing customers, as well as non-Sky subscribers, offers access to thousands of titles on demand from the Sky collection. This latest deployment enables viewers to access that same great content on their Android mobile device: from April, Snap is available for the Samsung smartphones GALAXY S III and GALAXY S4, as well as tablets GALAXY Tab 2 and GALAXY Tab 3.
