Mlungisi Ngema's (Patrick Mofokeng) dramatic exit from Scandal! on Friday 13 August left fans breathing through the wound.

While some were pleased about his exit as he was emotionally abusive towards his wife for years, many also wept for him.

Two exists: Romeo and Mlungisi #etvScandal also killed Romeo's (Hungani Ndlovu) character after Mlungisi's body was ditched by his daughter Lindiwe at the river.

Nobody expected his daughter to leave her father's lifeless body at the river, but she did .

She chose her man over her father and then went on to get married as if nothing happened.

Actress Lusanda Mbane's character Boniswa will also be leaving when the Mambas expose her.

Romeo's mother, Grace Medupe (Bathabile Mashigo), and his wife, Xolile, will also expose her when they realise that Boniswa is the one responsible for Romeo's death

LINDIWE'S GANGSTER LOVE Lindiwe (Nomvelo Makhanya) might've finally gotten married to the love of her life but she won't be married for long.

She seems to have a severe case of bad luck on the show:

First, she fell in love with Romeo who dumped her and married Xoile Langa (Sive Mabuya).

Then, she got arrested on her graduation day in July.

Then police showed up at her wedding ceremony on Friday (13 August).

As beautiful as her wedding was viewers didn't enjoy it because they were heartbroken over her father's death and Romeo's.

The show seems to be obsessed with deaths at a wedding:

Thembeka Shezi (Masasa Mbongeni) killed her stalker a few years ago right before she married Quinton Nyathi (Brighton Ngoma).

Their marriage never lasted because death on a wedding day signals bad luck.

Lindiwe's marriage to Nhlamulo (Mathews Rantsoma) won't last either because her father died on her wedding day.
