RT returns to the Phoenix Park for the 20th year of Bord Bia Bloom this June Bank Holiday Weekend. From Thursday 28th Monday 1st June, RT will bring a feast of chat, music and broadcasts live from Dublin's Phoenix Park. Featuring live RT lyric fm shows, expert panel discussions hosted by Audrey McGrath, regular RT Weather updates and much more, RT has something for everyone for this milestone year of Bord Bia Bloom.

Thursday: Sowing the seeds for a great start to RT at Bord Bia Bloom

RT Radio 1's Morning Ireland will kick off RT 's five-day schedule on Thursday 28th May with a live broadcast from Phoenix Park from 7:00am-9:00am.

Following this, Marty Whelan will keep things blooming with a special Marty in the Morning featuring live music and chat with special guests from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Join Marty and his signature warmth and wit as he catches up with some of this year's garden designers and landscape experts with plenty of jokes along the way.

Stemming on from that, Liz Nolan will bring her popular RT lyric fm programme, The Full Score, to Bloom from 2:00pm-4:00pm, with special guests and a showcase of musical masterworks.

Friday: Classic sounds take root

On Friday, join Niall Carroll's Classical Daytime from 10:00am-12:00pm for the perfect accompaniment to your morning. Featuring two hours of great music from the heart of the classical repertoire, tune in and soak up the spirit of Bord Bia Bloom.

Following Thursday's exciting Super Garden final on RT One and RT Player, this year's judges, Carol Marks, Brian Burke, Monica Alvarez and Kerrie Gardener will come together on the RT stage to discuss the talented finalists and what it takes to make a garden super.

From 2:00pm-4:00pm, Lorcan Murray's Classic Drive will pair a blossoming, bright playlist with expert gardening chat ahead of the weekend.

Saturday sounds, science and stories

Fans of Sunday Afternoon with Simon Delaney can enjoy the same easy chat, good humour and great jazz on Saturday, May 30th with Simon Delaney live from Bloom on RT lyric fm from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

Mark the Science Guy will bring the hit RT KIDSJr show, Let's Find Out, to life at Bord Bia Bloom with fun, interactive experiments for curious minds, exploring the science behind the natural world from plants to protecting the environment around us.

Soprano Claudia Boyle sets the mood for a relaxing weekend with Weekend Classics with Claudia Boyle live from Bloom on RT lyric fm from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

In full Bloom on Sunday and Monday

George Hamilton presents the Hamilton Scores live from Phoenix Park on lyric fm from 11:00am-1:00pm on Sunday, 31st May, complete with some of the most iconic musical pieces and George's insightful commentary.

While Evelyn Grant and the Cork Pops Quartet provide the perfect musical soundtrack to see out the June Bank Holiday Weekend on Monday, 1st June from 1:00pm-2:00pm.
