Axonista and Civolution Partner to Sync Up Viewers and Drive Engagement

Eindhoven, the Netherlands June 25 2013 - Civolution, the leading provider of technology and solutions for identifying, managing and monetizing content, today announces that Axonista, a leading Irish TV app developer, has selected Civolution's SyncNow ACR technology for integration with its Ediflo platform. This enables broadcasters to boost viewer engagement through 2nd screen apps built by Axonista.

Axonista's Ediflo platform enables broadcasters such as ESPN, MTV, SPI, Setanta Sports and TV3 to create and launch their own-branded second screen apps which function across mobile (iOS, Android, Windows), web, Roku and Xbox platforms. The collaboration with Civolution's unique audio watermarking technology brings ACR-synchronization to Ediflo, so that Axonista's companion apps are perfectly in sync with the content being viewed on the TV.
