Grass Valley Empowers Customers at IBC with Solutions that Enable Content Your Way

Stand will highlight solutions for live production, news, content delivery and networking

MONTREAL, August 11, 2016 At IBC 2016, Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will demonstrate integrated solutions that make it easy for customers to create, control and connect content wherever, however and whenever it is consumed. With a number of new solutions designed for live production, news, content delivery and networking, Grass Valley leads the way with powerful products that help professionals meet their needs today while preparing for the opportunities of tomorrow. Content really is at the center of everything this industry does today, said Marco Lopez, president, Grass Valley. Viewers expect to be able to get their content when and where it is convenient for them, whether streamed on a mobile device, via traditional broadcast channels or played back on demand. Content creators and broadcasters need the tools that give them the flexibility to profit from that content as the opportunities arise.

Customers in live production need a format-flexible approach that makes it easy to capture, process and replay content however it is needed to engage viewers. In news production, there is no margin for error producers need equipment that will get it right the first time, no matter what feeds are coming in or where viewers are looking for their information. Visitors will also see updates to a wide range of products including GV Node Real Time IP Processing and Edge Routing Platform, GV Convergent Router Control and Configuration System, EDIUS multiformat nonlinear editing software and more.

During IBC, Grass Valley will also be participating in the conference sessions. On Friday, September 9 at 8:30am in the Emerald Room, Mark Hilton, vice president of Networking will be part of the panel The IP Studio: Proof of Concept. On Saturday, September 10 at 9:30am in Room E102, Hilton will be part of the panel Are IT and IP Ready to Replace the Entire Broadcast Chain?
