El operador de comunicaciones por sat lite, HISPASAT, ha obtenido unos ingresos de 201,4 millones de euros en 2013, un 0,57% m s que en 2012. Descontando el efecto adverso de los tipos de cambio, este aumento hubiera sido del 4,35%, lo que pone de manifiesto el gran esfuerzo comercial realizado y la apuesta por la internacionalizaci n.
Por reas geogr ficas, los ingresos por capacidad espacial provienen en un 55,6% del mercado americano (que crece al 2,4%), mientras que el 44,4% corresponde a clientes ubicados en Europa y norte de frica (que baja un 2,2%). En 2008, al inicio de la crisis, estos porcentajes eran del 31,5% y 68,5% respectivamente.
Elena Pisonero, presidenta de Hispasat, admite que nuestra decidida apuesta por el proceso de internacionalizaci n nos est permitiendo crecer y contrarrestar el entorno adverso en los mercados de origen. En 2013, adem s de seguir invirtiendo, hemos intensificado nuestro esfuerzo comercial para fortalecer nuestra cartera de clientes con una oferta de servicios m s diversificada y de calidad. Y esta es la l nea que vamos a seguir en los pr ximos a os .
En 2013 el EBITDA alcanz los 163,8 millones de euros, un 1,68% superior al de 2012. As el margen EBITDA/Ingresos se mantuvo en 2013 por encima del 80%, superior a la media del sector.
Las inversiones del ejercicio 2013 alcanzaron los 157,4 millones de euros, manteniendo el ritmo y solidez de estos a os. Se finaliz la fabricaci n del sat lite Amazonas 3, primer sat lite con banda Ka en Latinoam rica, lanzado con xito el 7 de febrero, y se ha continuado con los programas Amazonas 4A e Hispasat AG1.
El grupo ha obtenido un beneficio de explotaci n consolidado de 68,4 millones de euros, ligeramente inferior al de 2012 debido al incremento de las amortizaciones por aumento de la flota con la puesta en explotaci n del sat lite Amazonas 3 y a las diferencias de tipo de cambio. Esto tambi n impact en el resultado antes de impuestos, que se redujo un 3,5%, hasta 66,3 millones de euros. Pese a ello, el resultado neto atribuido a la matriz aument en un 5,5% hasta alcanzar los 54,3 millones de euros.
Durante este ejercicio, Hispasat ha continuado prestando servicio a operadores de telecomunicaciones y radiodifusores del sector audiovisual, as como al entorno empresarial y gubernamental, mbitos en los que el Grupo cuenta con una importante experiencia. La compa a est trabajando tambi n en la diversificaci n de sus l neas de negocio, ofreciendo nuevos servicios de v deo y datos e impulsando los servicios de banda ancha, entre los que cabe destacar los de acceso a Internet en entornos de movilidad.
