Fujifilm Roadshow Delivers CPD Learning to Over 300 Radiography Professionals

Raigmore Hospital, Torbay Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary, Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Pilgim Hospital, East Surrey Hospital
During October and November 2018 Fujifilm delivered CPD Now presentations accredited by the College of Radiography to over 300 radiology professionals across the UK. Over 6 weeks the team visited 12 hospitals and ran 24 sessions - covering a total of 1730 miles from Portsmouth to Inverness.
We understand how difficult it can be for radiography staff to get time away from their hospital to complete CPD training, so we wanted to provide a service that was both practical and educational said Adrian Waller, General Manager of Fujifilm Medical Systems UK. We promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement, and this extends to our healthcare partners. Providing CPD is linked to our passion for delivering the best customer service in the market. Fujifilm has a strong history of innovation in medical imaging going back decades, and we continue to bring advanced technologies to the market today with many exciting new developments on the horizon.
The CPD Now presentation entitled Digital Imaging covered the history of imaging from the origins of x-ray, through innovations in computed and digital radiography, to the new generation of digital technology and the advances which are being driven by artificial intelligence and advanced techniques such as anatomy recognition and Virtual Grid scatter removal.

Fujifilm are planning further #LearnWithFujifilm CPD Now sessions for 2019 and welcome applications from hospitals who would be interested in taking part.
