Based in multiple locations across Scotland, Sky News presenters and correspondents will be delivering the latest news and analysis at the heart of the story.
On Sunday 14th September the MURNAGHAN programme will broadcast live from Holyrood, interviewing campaign protagonists and forensically examining what a yes or no vote will mean for the future of Scotland. Sky News Tonight, hosted by Adam Boulton and Sarah Hewson, will also leave the Westminster studio to go live from Holyrood, providing viewers with the latest news and analysis.
Members of the Sky News political team - Faisal Islam, Joey Jones, Anushkha Asthana - and reporters - James Matthews, Joe Tidy, Mark White and Rachel Younger - will be live from across Scotland offering the latest updates and speaking to voters about how the outcome will affect them. The presenting team on Thursday 18th September for Decision Time: Scotland will comprise of Adam Boulton in Ingliston, Kay Burley in Glasgow and Niall Paterson in Aberdeen. On Referendum night Sky News will also be live at all 32 counts with Economics Editor, Ed Conway, in the studio working through what the latest results could mean for the future of the country. Political Correspondent, Sophy Ridge, will be joining him to assess the social media reaction to the vote with a panel of guests.
Sky News will be providing a state-of-the-art digital service via a specially created app. Here customers can view all live results, in depth facts and figures from each of the 32 counts, and immediate analysis from the team of Sky News specialists.
All the latest will also be available on social media via @SkyElections where local results will be tweeted throughout the night, and @SkyNews where video highlights will reflect the most important moments including the final result. Sky News will also be drawing on the voices of young people via its Stand Up Be Counted platform.
