The Mexican chain Cinemex, the worlds sixth largest, has installed the first laser projector RGB country Christie in room 3 (CinemeXtremo) Cinemex complex Mundo E Mexico City. The room is also equipped with audio system for cinema next to immersive sound format Dolby Atmos Christie Live Audio.
El sistema instalado es un proyector l ser 3DLP 4K RGB Christie Solaria CP42LH en configuraci n 3P, una soluci n colorista y ultrabrillante para grandes pantallas. Apoy ndose en la plataforma de iluminaci n l ser Christie Freedom, el CP42LH produce un espectro de color que va m s all del espacio de color DCI P3 e iguala el Rec. 2020, unas caracter sticas que lo convierten en el sistema de proyecci n de cine RGB l ser m s avanzado del mercado.
La sala donde se ha instalado el proyector cuenta con una pantalla gigante de 23 x 9,60 metros, tiene 436 butacas y 19 palcos, y est equipada para 3D con el sistema RealD. El sistema de proyecci n se ha equipado con siete m dulos l ser para generar 35.000 l menes (cada m dulo puede generar hasta 5.000 l menes de luz blanca). Pero la escalabilidad de la plataforma hace posible a adir, quitar, activar o desactivar con toda facilidad y en funci n de las necesidades de brillo hasta una docena de m dulos, con la posibilidad, por tanto, de producir hasta 60.000 l menes. Adem s, cada m dulo l ser cuenta con refrigeraci n independiente, lo que protege al sistema de fallos mejorando su eficiencia y dot ndolo de gran fiabilidad.

Se trata de auditorios PLF (Premium Large Format) que cuentan con pantallas gigantes, proyecci n de cine digital al 100% y butacas ergon micas para brindar la m xima comodidad al aficionado al cine. Todos ellos ofrecen la combinaci n inigualable de Dolby Atmos y Christie Vive Audio, proporcionando una experiencia de sonido altamente inmersivo famoso por su potencia y rendimiento excepcionales.
