WeLab presents in Spain the new network Epic-W 8K The new camera stands out for its sensor Helium S35 35.4 megapixel, REDCode RAW recording, 8K 4 K Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD simultaneously and the possibility of obtaining images at speeds of up to 300 frames per second (in 2K).

On Thursday took place in the facilities of the companys rental and audiovisual services WeLab in Madrid the presentation of the new camera NETWORK EPIC-W 8K. The new camera stands out for its sensor Helium S35 35.4 megapixel, REDCode RAW recording, 8K 4 K Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR/HD simultaneously and the possibility of obtaining images at speeds of up to 300 frames per second (in 2K).

The new Epic offers a dynamic range of 16.5 stops and a ratio of signal noise of 80 db and is presented with a PL-EF Nikon optics and Leica.

As it has been evident in this presentation network Epic-W 8 K makes the difference by the use of technology that prevents annoying wireless wired. Using a module WiFi is possible to connect it to an iPad or iPhone with "Fool Control" options on the camera. On the other hand, the powerful application of non-linear editing network, REDCINE-X-PRO, allows cutting dailies or make color corrections directly on the own set of filming.

On the other hand, its Helium sensor new generation guarantees an excellent response to very low lights as well as image quality of movies with vivid colors along with detailed shadows and glitters. As well as the 8 K S35 Weapon, the Epic-W combines an advanced composition of color with an incredible dynamic range. The result is a cinematic quality with vivid colors, shadows and detailed lights to get more realistic images.

From the point of view of usability, network has announced the beta version 7.0 software (currently at version 6.4) which will simplify many operations with the camera. In addition, the core DSMC2 is the smallest made by network and is compatible with a wide range of network accessories and other brands, so it achieves a great personalization capacity.
