Frozen Freezes Out Golden Globe Competitors

Disneys animated feature film Frozen beat DreamWorks' The Croods and Universal/Illumination's Despicable Me 2 at the 71st Annual Golden Globes awards on Sunday, January 12.

For the past several weeks, Frozen has been heating up the box office and is on its way to possibly becoming Disneys highest grossing film. Meanwhile, Despicable Me 2 has also raked in quite a handsome sum at the box office.

12 Years A Slave won Best Motion Picture - Drama, while American Hustle did likewise in the Musical or Comedy category.

On the television front, Breaking Bad and Brooklyn Nine-Nine took top honors for Best Drama and Best Comedy Series, respectively.

Woody Allen received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.
