The days of fixed pricing, sell and forget are almost over. Pixel Power offers the ability to move from CAPEX to OPEX and take advantage of fully flexible pricing and permanent upgrades to software licences. (Oh, did I tell you that our software licences are portable too?)

Old way: CAPEX - pay outright and buy the solution up front (still available).

New way: OPEX - pay per quarter, pay per hour, pay per feature, pay per bundle. New at IBC 2017 - Technology Platforms

Pixel Power is introducing two new technology platforms at IBC2017 that deliver flexible modular feature combinations for broadcasters moving along the path to software-defined solutions that can be virtualised for the private or public cloud.

Gallium Workflow Orchestration allows broadcasters to execute workflow tasks with media content. This enables a broadcaster to automate linear channel playout, automate addition/removal of graphics, branding or logos, package content or regionalise/localise content according to business demands.

StreamMaster Media Processing enables broadcasters to execute processing functions on media content. Running on COTS hardware on-premise, in a data centre or public cloud, StreamMaster Media Processing enables authoring, transcoding, logos/graphics manipulation, content rendering, real-time master control and real-time graphics and DVE delivery.
