deltatre Expands in Asia with FOX International Channels

(30/08/2014) During one of its busiest years to date, deltatre is excited to announce the provision of a range of graphic services to FOX International Channels (FIC) for their launch of the all-new FOX Sports network in Asia. With significant experience in delivering solutions to broadcasters from its Onstage business line, deltatre has implemented a range of graphics services, including: Augmented Reality, On-screen Presentation Graphics and a Multi-sport Touchscreen in FOX Sports' new studios. To cope with an ever-expanding broadcast schedule, deltatre has also replicated the physical set in the virtual world, giving FOX Sports enormous production flexibility.

At the heart of each studio is Magma, deltatre's flexible graphics product. Magma will provide FOX Sports with an efficient workflow to enable the creation of compelling TV graphics at the click of a button. Its data feed integration with both Opta and Press Association (PA) can be used to send rich data driven graphics live to air, or to save templates into a rundown for use later in the show. Furthermore, Magma's user-friendly web interface will provide a professional and fast solution for in-depth analysis.

The touchscreen will feature an array of functionality, enabling presenters in the studio to engage viewers around key topics of discussion, such as transfer news, team tactics, incidents, results and standings tables.

The project, running in conjunction with the launch of the all-new FOX Sports network in Asia, sees a totally new workflow at FIC's state-of-the-art facility at Nexus@One North, in the South West of Singapore. As a result, deltatre were also on hand to train FOX Sports staff to become self-sufficient on the new technology and solutions.

FOX Sports programmes featuring deltatre's graphics solutions will cover a number of sports including European and Asian Football, Formula 1, Moto GP, Tennis, Golf and Badminton.
