Weather forecast and UV index for all provinces Gauteng: Morning fog patches on the southern highveld, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers.

UVB sunburn index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga: Cloudy in east at first with morning fog and a chance of drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in places in the north-east. Isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected in the highveld areas.

Limpopo: Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog and a chance of drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the south-west.

North-West Province: Fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated thunderstorms, except in the west.

Free State: Cloudy over the extreme east at first with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and cool, becoming partly cloudy in the extreme north-east and east with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Northern Cape: Morning mist along the coast where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, becoming fine from the west. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly to southerly.

Western Cape: Cloudy along the south coast at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in places over the West Coast region. It will be fine in the west. The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly but light to moderate along the south coast.

UVB index: Very high.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy with mist in places in the south east at first, otherwise fine and cool becoming cloudy from evening. The wind along the coast will be light and variable becoming light south-easterly from midday. It will become easterly from late afternoon.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy and cool with isolated rain and showers in places south of the escarpment. The wind along the coast will be light and variable becoming light south-easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal: Partly cloudy to cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-westerly,

becoming fresh in the afternoon.

UVB index: Moderate.
