Three-time Latin Grammy winner and two-time Grammy nominee Kany Garc a brings her Soy Yo album to life in KANY GARC A: SO YO EN VIVO, debuting FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 at 8pm ET/PT on HBO Latino ; and will simultaneously be available on HBO GO , HBO NOW , HBO On Demand and partners' streaming platforms.
From hit singles Soy Yo and Para Siempre to the dance-worthy Banana Papaya, this exclusive music special goes far beyond Garc a's album of the same name. Filmed at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, KANY GARC A: SOY YO EN VIVO is an evening full of Garc a's lyrically rich music. The renowned acoustic-pop singer-songwriter also invites fellow Puerto Rican musicians and Caribbean artists to join her on stage for surprise collaborations and medleys, including Andrea Cruz, Lizbeth Rom n, Pedro Cap , Natti Natasha, Tommy Torres, and Ren Residente P rez Joglar.
Born in Puerto Rico, Kany Garc a is a unique and unmistakable talent whose expressive performances, vivid wordplay, and perceptive lyrics have made her the voice of young women across Latin America and the United States. Garc a now joins the elite group of musicians with HBO Latino music specials, which include Farruko: En Letra de Otro, Havana Street Party Presents Orishas, Gente de Zona: En Letra de Otro, Gilberto Santa Rosa, 40 y Contando and Pedro Capo: En Letra de Otro.
