Singapore, 9 December 2014 - StarHub TV is refreshing a family favourite in crystal clear high definition with the launch of Boomerang (StarHub TV Channel 317), a dynamic all-animation channel designed for kids and their families. Available from 1 January 2015, the channel will offer exclusive original content for the very first time, including new episodes of timeless favourites from Warner Bros. Studios and premium acquired series. To introduce customers to the new channel, a free preview will be held from launch to 14 January 2015, 12 noon.
While the all-new Boomerang has mass appeal, its safe content is suitable for both boys and girls between four to nine years old. The channel draws upon the talents of the world's most famous animation studios and will be home to the biggest names from Warner Bros. Studios such as Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and Scooby-Doo. Boomerang will also offer exclusive original content for the very first time, including timeless new series of favourites and premium acquired series, including Mr Bean and Shaun the Sheep.

Boomerang has returned to Singapore and it has never looked so good, said Mark Eyers, Chief Content Officer, Kids, Turner International Asia Pacific. The channel re-launch is part of a global initiative which Singapore viewers will be among the first anywhere to experience. Right from the start, our commitment to acquire the world's very best animation will be obvious. We'll be airing all-new Inspector Gadget and Turbo FAST, and in April, we're very excited to debut the long-awaited and true family favourite - the incomparable Mr Bean in a spectacular new animated season, he added.
Boomerang will be available on the Kids Basic HD Upsize. New and existing StarHub TV Kids Basic HD Upsize subscribers will be able to enjoy the channel at no additional charge. Customers will need an HD set-top box to view the channel.
