Mobile, media and outdoor Cannes Lions winners announced --

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, a prestigious international annual advertising and communications event which takes place from 15 to 21 June in France, presented creative companies with a number of awards at the second awards ceremony.
Out of 3127 entries in the Media category Matt Seiler, Global CEO, IPG Mediabrands, awarded 13 gold, 24 silver and 54 bronze trophies. McCann Lima, a creative agency in Peru, took the Grand Prix award for their Happy ID campaign for The Coca-Cola Company. Starcom MediaVest was awarded Media Network of the Year, an accolade given to the media agency which obtains the highest score for entries in the Media Lions section.
FCB Brasil, a creative agency based in S o Paulo, was awarded the Grand Prix in the Mobile category for their Protection Ad campaign for Nivea. Jaime Robinson, Executive Creative Director, Pereira and O Dell chaired the mobile jury and presented 11 gold, 18 silver and 24 bronze awards out of 1187 entries.
Out of 5660 campaigns in the outdoor category Jury head Jose Miguel Sokoloff, President of Lowe Global Creative Council and CCO Lowe SSP3 Colombia, awarded 18 gold, 40 silver and 70 bronze trophies. The Melbourne based Whybin\TBWA Group received the Grand Prix for the ANZ GayTMs campaign which they created for ANZ. The 2014 Media Person of the Year Award was presented to Richard Plepler, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HBO, for his management of the world s most successful pay TV service. His contribution included the creation of highly acclaimed and award-winning shows such as True Blood, Game of Thrones and True Detective.
