Real Image is extremely happy to announce that its entire digital cinema mastering, content management and licensing process is now certified by BSI* for compliance with ISO 27001:2005 standards. The trust that the industry always had in Real Image Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd./Qube Cinema Network has a formal quality endorsement thanks to the rigorous BSI audit process, which, in addition to the endorsement, has imparted enormous value in the company's endeavour to constantly excel. Ernst & Young guided the company during the preparatory phase prior to the BSI audit.

BSI Group India represents the Indian arm of British Standards Institution, UK. BSI Group, established in 1901, operates in 147 countries and serves more the 70,000 clients worldwide across all Industry Sectors. BSI Group is renowned for making Management System standards and has the credit of being author of 8 of the 10 leading Global Management Systems such as Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Occupational Health and Safety Management, IT Service Management, Information Security Management, Energy Management System and Risk Management.

Between their three digital mastering facilities offices, Real Image Media Technologies Pvt. Ltd. / Qube Cinema Network dished out over 1800 unique movies, including dubbed versions, between January-December, 2013! That's nearly 35 titles a week and just one company with all the movies made in India flowing through their portals. The efforts required and the pressures, not just to master movies digitally but to have them delivered to over 3500 theatres across India, over a data network and physically, to monitor the various territory rights authorisations of distributors, generate the licenses required to unlock' the digital print sent to the theatre, send these licenses also over the data network/physically to ensure that the patrons get to enjoy the movie First Day First Show - and do all of this week after week after week tirelessly and flawlessly with the same devotion to quality, consistency and customer service standards defined, notwithstanding the fact that the original source content for most of the movies may have been received much later than the specified deadline, are enormous. Operationally complex to say the least, having to manage the deliverables for three sets of clients - the Producers, the Distributors and the Theatres, in time, time after time!

A lot has happened from the time the Digital Cinema journey began in 2005. A robust evolution of the sector in the days to come outs more onus on companies like Real Image to sustainably manage the industry's projected growth. This announcement is a first step in that direction to ensure that robust processes drive the underlying, and ever growing, operations of the company and ensure the safety, timely release and subsequent archival of such a valued investment of the industry.
