Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards Opens Online Voting

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards is pleased to announce that online voting is now available through MUAHS website local706.org.

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards, taking place Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Paramount Studios Theatre in Hollywood, CA, honors both make-up artists and hair stylists outstanding achievements in motion pictures, television, commercials and live theater. The cocktail reception will be presented by MAC Cosmetics.

Voting for nominations shall be by secured member login through the Local 706 website and will be restricted to active and active retired members in good standing.

The deadline for voting is 5 PM (PT) on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.

Nominees from six competitive categories including best contemporary make-up, best period and/or character make-up, best special make-up effects, best contemporary hair styling and best period and/or character hair styling will be announced on January 8, 2015. As previously announced, Oscar -winning make-up artist Rick Baker and Emmy -nominated hair stylist Kathryn Blondell will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards.
