Egg Films: the most awarded production company at the Lrie Awards

Egg Films was the most-awarded production company at the 2013 Loerie Awards, walking off with a Gold, three Silvers, five Crafts and one Bronze.

Terence Neale won Gold for TV & Cinema Commercials - Above 90s for Die Antwoord Fatty Boom Boom, which he co-directed with Ninja. Fatty Boom Boom also won a Craft Award for Kezia Eales' production design, which featured Ninja's set designs, mural designs and graffiti, as well as a Voodoo Room art directed by Roger Ballen. The music video has over 14 million views on YouTube.

Bruno Bossi won Silver for TV & Cinema Commercials - Under 90s for Net#work BBDO's funny Mercedes-Benz Attention Assist campaign, which also picked up an Integrated Campaign Silver.

Kim Geldenhuys won Silver for TV & Cinema Commercials - Under 90s for TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris' Standard Bank Sh-Boom, which also earned a Craft certificate for his direction and BlackGinger's VFX.

Terence's Chicken Licken Orphanage commercial for Net#work BBDO also won a Bronze for TV & Cinema Commercials - Under 90s, as well as Craft certificates for Paul Gilpin's cinematography and Clayton Swartz's production design.

Overall, Egg received 18 nominations. Director Dani Hynes also received four nominations for the Black River FC Nando's commercials she made before joining Egg, which also won the Umpetha Award and Truly South African Television Gold at The Pendoring Awards.
