Arvato Systems brings industry-specific IT know-how to the challenges of digital transformation on the way to Industrie 4.0

G tersloh - Arvato Systems has joined Labs Network Industrie 4.0 e.V., LNI 4.0 for short. The association was founded by companies from the Industrie 4.0 platform together with the Bitkom, VDMA and ZVEI associations to support German midmarket companies in the transfer of practice in the context of Digital Transformation. Arvato Systems contributes industry-specific IT expertise as a member.

The non-profit association LNI 4.0 offers us a middle balance between theoretical input and practical application for the topic Industrie 4.0 - within the framework of custom-fit test environments, we are able to actively contribute our practical experience as an IT specialist, explains Johannes Fuhrmann, Head of Business Development for the Manufacturing Industry at Arvato Systems. We are focusing on a holistic approach to achieve Industrie 4.0, and one of our focuses will be to accompany manufacturing companies on their way to data economy. By connecting companies and test centers, the LNI 4.0 offers us the opportunity to test and validate the effectiveness and efficiency of new technologies and processes together with manufacturing companies. We benefit from this approach, just as the LNI 4.0 and its members do.

We are very much looking forward to working with Arvato Systems, stated Anja Simon, CEO for Labs Network Industrie 4.0 e.V. I would like to emphasize the combination of IT expertise in tandem with industry-specific knowledge. This will help us in the future to develop innovative solutions on the way to Industrie 4.0, she affirms the importance of the partnership. For example, Arvato Systems will be actively involved in the first step as part of a test environment for the administration shell. This is the essential component for implementing Industrie 4.0 applications in industry. Testing use cases for the management of edge devices is also on the agenda for Arvato Systems, raises Dr. Dominik Rohrmus, CTO for Labs Network Industry 4.0 e.V.
