The Sports Video Group (SVG) and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2022 SVG College Sports Media Awards in association with NACDA (CSMAs).

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and announced*** at the 14th-annual SVG College Sports Media Awards in association with NACDA which returns to an in-person ceremony at the SVG College Summit in the Omni Atlanta Hotel on June 13 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Representing a variety of college athletic departments, conference offices, professional networks, production companies, and students, finalists are named across eight divisions in six categories.

This year's College Sports Media Awards were expanded to account for the greater work that's being produced by schools and departments of all sizes for an ever-changing landscape of platforms and distribution models, says Brandon Costa, Director of Digital at Sports Video Group and Program Director of the SVG College Summit. The community responded with some of its very best work ever. This year's field is the largest number of entries we've ever received and its inspiring to see that work being done for everything from live game coverage to video board shows to social media content. This industry is loaded with talented producers, editors, storytellers, technicians, administrators, and students. It's an honor for us at SVG to celebrate this community with these awards for the 14th consecutive year.

As many things have changed over the past 2 years in life and in the sports world, we see that reflected in the Finalists for the 2022 SVG College Sports Media Awards, says Tom Buffolano, chairman of the SVG College Sports Media Awards in association with NACDA. Many colleges made a larger investment in their live production capabilities to take advantage of REMI and Cloud based workflows. We also see major growth in using social media for everything from live broadcasts to highlights and ticket sales, to student-athletes branding themselves in the name of sponsorship opportunities, and that trend will only increase.
