Speaking Engagements and Demonstrations Highlight Company's Expertise in Providing Enhanced Security Solutions for Broadcast, IPTV and OTT Services

NAB Show 2014, Las Vegas, April 3, 2014 - Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, today announced that it will have a strong presence at the NAB Show 2014, booth #SU9505, April 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In particular, the company plans to highlight its expertise and capabilities related to the providing enhanced revenue security for ultra high definition (UHD) content.

Chief sales and marketing officer Steve Oetegenn will participate in a panel on over-the-top (OTT) video on Monday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. in room S224 alongside expert panelists from ABC Entertainment, Channel Islands, Harmonic and RGB Networks. Stefan Jenzowsky, vice president, head of Media Business, Siemens Convergence Creators, will moderate. During the session, the panelists will explore the impact of new and emerging OTT business models on video distribution, as well as the impact that innovations like adaptive streaming and virtual set-top boxes have on television and media distribution.

Chief technology officer Petr Peterka will present a session entitled The Evolution of Security in the Connected World on Thursday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. in room S227 as part of the Broadcast Engineering Conference. During his session, Peterka will explore will explore multi-network and multi-device security models, and detail possible responses to potential piracy. He will also summarize MovieLabs' Specifications for Next Generation Video and Enhanced Content Protection and explore why UHD content presents new challenges to revenue security.

The company will also have Streaming Media's recent 4K Superguide, featuring an article by Peterka on Top Consideration for Securing your UHD Content, available at its NAB booth.
