With the addition of a new neighbourhood watering hole, Nick (Jake Johnson) feels that his epic Valentines Day pub crawl is now complete. Meanwhile, an inebriated Jess (Zoey Deschanel) and Ryan (recurring guest star Julian Morris) ruminate about their future; and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) makes a move into politics.

Big Night, Big Fight
Dre (Anthony Anderson) vows to make Valentines Day a romantic success, even though most years he and Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross) end up quarreling; and Diane (Marsai Martin) comes to the conclusion that she is too critical and accepts help from her siblings on learning how to give a compliment.

Valentines Day 4: Twisted Sister
Valentines Day is here again which means "Juliana" and "Clive" are back, however, things get worrisome when Claire (Julie Bowen) starts sensing Phil (Ty Burrell) may be more into Juliana than her. Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O'Neill) goes from feeling disappointed to scared when Glorias (Sofia Vergara) visiting sister, Sonia (guest star Stephanie Beatriz, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), becomes a larger deterrence to his plans for a romantic evening than he thought.

Out, Damned Spot
