The Wait Is Over: Teaser Trailer Drops for Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole

Netflix can finally reveal the teaser-trailer for Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole (Norwegian title: Jo Nesb s Harry Hole). This is the first series based on Nesb 's global bestselling books, marking the beginning of a new era for one of literature's most iconic detectives. The new series is produced by Working Title and will make its global debut on March 26.
Tobias Santelmann (Exit, The Last Kingdom) is leading the cast as detective Harry Hole, alongside Joel Kinnaman (Altered Carbon, The Suicide Squad) as Tom Waaler and Pia Tjelta (Made in Oslo, State of Happiness) as Rakel Fauke.
Author, creator and executive producer Jo Nesb : It's been just great working with Tobias Santelmann and creating a character that is fresh, still true to the character and his universe in the novels. I'm really looking forward to presenting this Harry Hole to the audience.

With over 60 million books sold worldwide - including a staggering 5.6 million in Norway alone (more than the nation's population!) - Nesb 's novels have enthralled readers and defined the crime genre.
The original score is composed by acclaimed musicians and composers Nick Cave - recently Oscar-nominated in the Music (Original Song) category for Train Dreams - and Warren Ellis.
About Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole:
Created by one of the greatest storytellers in crime fiction, Jo Nesbo's Detective Hole, is a whodunnit serial killer mystery led by famed anti-hero Harry Hole. Underneath the surface, this series is a nuanced character drama about two police officers - and supposed colleagues - operating on opposite sides of the law. Throughout the season, Harry goes head-to-head with his long-time adversary and corrupt detective Tom Waaler. Harry is a brilliant but tormented homicide detective who struggles with his demons. As the two navigate the blurred ethical lines of the criminal justice system, Harry must do all he can to catch a serial killer and bring Waaler to justice before it is too late.
